John Winston Ono Lennon, baptism as John Winston Lennon, MBE, (Liverpool, 9 of October of 1940 - New York, 8 of December of 1980) was a musician, composer, writer and activist for the British peace. He is considered an icon of century XX.
John Lennon gained notoriety world-wide as one of the integrant ones of the group of British rocks The Beatles. At the time of the existence of the Beatles, John Lennon formed with Paul McCartney one of the most famous pairs of composers of all the times, the Lennon & McCartney pair.
In 1968, John Lennon got passionate itself for the plastic artist Yoko Ono and after this it became the person most important in the life and career of the English musician. In 1970, the Beatles had arrived at the end and from now on John dedicated alone career to it.
Moved away from music since 1975, for if more dedicating the family since the birth of its son with Yoko Ono, Sean Lennon, John he came back to the studios in 1980 to record a new album. He was as one I recommence. However in 8 of December of the same year, John was assassinated in New York for Mark David Chapman when he returned from the writing studio together with the woman.
